Abstract:
To provide a bioabsorbable fistula treatment material capable of physically closing a fistula as a scaffold for regenerating the tissue till the fistula is closed, and capable of being degraded and absorbed in vivo immediately after the fistula is closed.
The bioabsorbable fistula treatment material is manufactured by complexing a porous body made of a cone-shaped bioabsorbable polymer and a bioabsorbable string-shaped material. It is discovered that the bioabsorbable fistula treatment is usable for treating an intractable fistula.
