Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the workability to fit the upper section of a strut to the strut arranging section of a body by inserting a cover assembled at the upper section of the strut into a receiving section opened outside the body in the width direction. CONSTITUTION:A front body is constituted to form an engine room 6 with a dash lower 3 including a cowl box 1 and right and left front pillars 2, right and left hood ridges 4, and a radiator support 5. In this case, when a strut is to be fitted to the front body, a receiving section 7 is provided on each of the right and left hood ridges 4, and a cover 14 is assembled on the upper section of the strut. The cover 14 is inserted into the receiving section 7, and a bracket 15 is put at the projection of the cover 14 from the receiving section 7. Then, the lower end of the cover 14 is received by a rim, and bolts 19 are tightened in screw holes on each of the right and left hood ridges 4 through the screw inserting holes of the bracket 15.
