The light leak surface 22, where light leaks, other than the display surface of the transparent display unit 20 overlaps with the display area of the display device 10, and the angle between the light leak surface and a sight line direction Y1 at the time of use, i.e. the angle θ from the light leak surface 22 to the sight line direction Y1 through outside the transparent display unit 20 is ≥180°. Consequently, intense transmitted light from the light leak surface 22 of the transparent display unit 20 does not come directly on the eye of a user K1.
