To enhance the appearance of a fitting structure of a drainage channel and a catch basin by using an existing catch basin when a draining pavement is laid by the overlay construction method by working the circumference of the basic and the basin cover for enhancing the drainage capacity of the neighborhood of the basin, and also by continuously installing the drainage channel for the draining pavement.
Drainage channels for a draining pavement are provided along the curb X between the former surface course and a catch basin, and a receiving frame 3 having the same height as that of the drainage channel for draining pavement is provided on three sides excepting the curb side around the catch basin Y, and a raising member 4 such as a square pipe is interposed in the bottom part of basin cover 1, so that the upper surface of the basin cover 1 is flush with the upper surface of the drain channel for the draining pavement. Further, water passing parts are provided on the abutting surfaces between the basin cover and the drainage channels for pavement respectively.
