Title:
FIXED POST MITOTIC CELL PROLIFERATING AGENT USING ANTISENSE OLIGONUCLEOTIDE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3847366
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fixed post miotic cell proliferating agent, comprising one or more antisene oligonucleotides, etc., of cancer suppressor genes as an active ingredient, capable of promoting the growth of a fixed post mitotic cell and useful for treating diseases concerted with the cell, e.g. cardiopathy.
SOLUTION: This fixed post mitotic cell proliferating agent comprises one or more antisense oligonucleotides of cancer suppressor genes or their equivalent sequences as an active ingredient. The gene is preferably selected from the group consisting of Rb gene and P53 gene and the proliferating agent preferably further contains a lipid in the form of especially a liposome. The antisense oligonucleotides are preferably present in the liposome and an inactivated hemagglutinating virus of Japan, Sendai virus (HVJ), is preferably contained in the growth agent.
