Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable one road apparatus to perform a communication processing even with on-vehicle machines different in communication protocol is different.
SOLUTION: When a protocol selection signal is applied from the outside, road equipment 1 controls the switching of a communication protocol type by a protocol control part 4 of a controller 2, and executes communication processing by a communication control part 5. An antenna 3 is provided with modulation/demodulation circuits 7 corresponding to protocol types 1-n, and those modulation/demodulation circuits are switched and connected by a protocol switching circuit 6. Those modulation/demodulation circuits 7 are successively switched, and the communication processing is executed by each communication protocol so that the communication processing with on-vehicle equipment 9 entering a communication area can be executed. Then, charging processing can be achieved by executing the communication processing a plurality of number of times.
