Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing belt for an image forming device having an excellent and long mold releasing property of toner, having no fixing irregularity on the recording paper, and capable of transferring a lustrous high-quality image on the recording paper.
SOLUTION: This fixing belt is provided with a hardened surface elastic layer made of the following hardening silicone rubber composition on a belt base material via an intermediate elastic layer made of addition type silicone rubber having the heat conductivity of 1.0×10-3-5.0×10-3cal/(cm.sec.°C). Hardening silicone rubber composition: (a) organopolysiloxane containing the alkenyl group, (b) organihydrodiene polysiloxane, (c) catalyst for hydrosilyl reaction, and (d) organopolysiloxane stopped with the trimethylsilyl group at both terminals of the molecular chain. This hardening silicone rubber composition contains diphenyl siloxane of 10mol% and diphenyl organopolysiloxane of the remaining mol% and contains no inorganic filler.
