PURPOSE: To prevent the main body of a helmet from damages caused by a ear cover by removing screws from the ear cover.

CONSTITUTION: Ear cover-fixing holes 6 are formed at the left and the right outside of the main body 1 of a helmet. A holding member 16 is placed at a fixing axis part 15 of an ear cover 3. A concave ring-shaped engaging part 8 for engaging the holding member 16 is formed outside of each of the ear cover-fixing holes 6. A fitting part 9 for the holding member 16 is formed at the engaging part 8. An ear-cover's swing-controlling piece 10 is formed at the rear inside of the engaging part 8. A protruding stopper piece 18 is formed at a lower part of the ear cover 3 and an engaging protrusion 19 is formed on the stopper piece 18. A holding concave part 21 is formed inside of a stopper piece-fitting concave part 20 on the main body 1 of the helmet. The engaging protrusion 19 on the stopper piece 18 is fitted to the holding concave part 21.
