Abstract:

To provide a fixing device and an image forming apparatus for suppressing deterioration of image quality.

The fixing device includes a first fixing part 81 and a second fixing part 82 along a conveying direction of a transfer material 97 forming a toner film 98. The first fixing part and the second fixing part includes first and second heating rollers 83, 85 and first and second pressure rollers 84, 86 respectively. The first heating roller forms a resin layer 83b on a metal roller 83a, the second heating roller provides an elastic layer 85b on the outer periphery of a metal roller 85a, and a resin layer 85c is formed on the elastic layer. The transfer material 97 heated with the first heating roller 83 is reheated with the second heating roller 85.
