PURPOSE: To obtain an image of glossiness which is suitable for monochromatic copying and for full-colored copying respectively by optionally selecting the glossiness or the matte of an image fixed in an electrostatic recorder.

CONSTITUTION: A first fixing roller 13 and a second fixing roller 14 which are brought into press-contact with a pressurizing roller 12 are provided. A conveyed transfer sheet is switched by a switching guide board 21 and is led either to a channel which ejects the sheet through a first nipping part 16 which is formed by the rollers 12 and 13, or to a channel which ejects the sheet through a second nipping part 17 which is formed by the rollers 12 and 14. The surface of the roller 13 is a matte surface and the surface of the roller 14 is a glossy surface. Thus, when the monochromatic copying is performed, the matte surface is selected and when the full-colored copying is performed, the glossy surface is selected.
