Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce the fixing roller which does not generate offset even in the initial period of using a copying machine.
CONSTITUTION: An arbor 2 formed with an elastic material layer 3 is inserted into a fluororesin tube and is cured by heating, by which the fluororesin layer 4 is integrated to the arbor. The surface of the fluororesin layer 4 is roughened by moving sand paper, etc., in its axial direction while rotating the sand paper, by which a press roller 1 is formed. The press roller 1 is so formed as to have ≥1.0 + point average surface roughness. As a result, the offset is not generated even in the initial period of using the copying machine and, therefore, clean copies are inexpensively obtd.
