Title:
FIXING STRUCTURE FOR ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04165117
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent a fixing bolt from inclining through the few number of parts by partially bending an electronic equipment panel into a U-shape to form a rising part, severally providing two U-shaped faces with holes through which the fixing bolt is passed, and establishing a distance between the rising part and a cage body to be longer than the length of the thread part of the fixing bolt.

CONSTITUTION: In fixing an electronic equipment 7 to a cage body 2, the thread part 3a of a fixing bolt 3 is first perfectly passed through the hole 8 of an electronic equipment panel 1 and an internal threads 10 provided on a rising part 9. When an electronic equipment 17 and the panel 1 have been pushed into a cage body 2, since a distance L3 between a rising part 9 and the cage body 2 is longer than the length L1 of the thread part 3a, the thread part 3a is not held between the electric equipment panel 1 and the cage body 2, and any load does not therefore act on the components for fixing structure. When the tip of the fixing bolt 3 has attained the internal thread part 6 of the cage body 2, the bolt 3 is screwed into the internal thread part 6 to fix the electronic panel 1 to the cage body 2. Thus the fixing bolt 3 can be prevented from inclining and falling off without any inclination preventing component.
