In a fixing structure of a manhole joint 4 to join a connecting pipe (a buried pipe) 3 to a manhole excavating hole 2 formed in a peripheral wall 1a of a manhole 1, the manhole joint 4 is formed of an elastic material such as soft rubber whose whole uses EPDM as a main material and hardness regulated by a water like standard JIS K6353 1 class A is about Hs 65°. A manhole inserting part 5 of the manhole joint 4 has a collar fitting installing step difference 8 on a joint inner peripheral surface 5a, and a collar 12 composed of highly rigid resin or the like is installed on the collar fitting installing step difference 8 by using a collar inserting jig from inside of a manhole, and the manhole joint 4 is firmly fastened and fixed to a manhole excavating hole 2 by this collar 12.
