Abstract:
To fix a pinion shaft, without making a differential case thick.
The fixing structure contains a pinion gear 21 supported by the pinion shaft 19, a bevel gear type differential mechanism 5 having side gears 23 and 25 meshing with the pinion gear 21, and the differential case 3 for transmitting driving force of a motor to the side of the pinion shaft 19, where a recess 37 provided to the side of the pinion shaft 19 is engaged with a protrusion 39 of the side gear 23, so as to prevent the slip-off of the pinion shaft 19.
