To enable permanent fix of a bone and stabilizing fragments of a bone in case of joining bones by composing a fixing tool of a material made from a cortex of bone that has been preserved and disinfected.

The fixing tool 10 is composed of a material made from a cortex of bone that has been preserved and disinfected and it is shaped as a pin to join bones inside the body of a human or an animal. The fixing tool 10 has a cylindrical main body 12 which is provided with a part 14 of which cross section is reduced at the front end and a tapered part 16 that extends conically in the longitudinal direction of the fixing pin at an angle of about 45°. The top 18 of the fixing tool 10 is conically shaped at an angle of 45°. The part reduced in diameter 14 exists between the cone-shaped top 18 and the cone-shaped tapered part 16. The cross-sectional space of the part 14 shares about 80-85% of the main body 12's cross section. At the example shown here, the diameter of the part 14 reduced in diameter is 2.5 mm and one of the main body 12 is 3 mm. The whole length of the fixing tool 10 is 60 mm and the length in the longitudinal direction from the front end to the end of the tapered part 16 is 10 mm.
