To accurately form a template of an ear mold down to the depth of an external auditory meatus by making it possible to simply and easily insert a cotton ball, etc., into a proper insertion position without causing pain when inserting the cotton ball, etc.
A fixture for inserting a cotton ball comprises: a pipe 4 for attaching an elastic member thereto, the pipe 4 being composed of a slender pipe and being formed with a finger locking part 4a at the rear end part of the pipe 4; and a pushing pipe 5 which is a pipe longer than the pipe 4 for attaching the elastic member thereto and is fittingly inserted in a freely slidable way into the pipe 4 for attaching the elastic member thereto, wherein stopper parts 5b whose tips are stopped on the same surface as that of a tips of the pipe 4 for attaching the elastic member thereto or a position that slightly projects are formed. An elastic member 1 such as a cotton ball and a sponge is attached to the tip part of the pipe 4 for attaching the elastic member thereto and located at an insertion position of the external auditory meatus, and the pushing pipe 5 is subsequently pushed to insert the elastic member 1 into the external auditory meatus.
