To obtain a flame-resistant thermoplastic resin composition prevented in the thermal deterioration of the resin in a kneading process and in a molding process and excellent in the mechanical strength and the recycling property.
This resin composition comprises (A) 5-98 pts.wt. of a polycarbonate resin, (B) 2-95 pts.wt. of a rubber-reinforced thermoplastic resin composition containing a grafted polymer produced by graft-polymerizing one or more kinds of vinylic compounds capable of being graft-copolymerized to a rubbery polymer to the rubbery polymer, wherein at least one kind of emulsifier used for the emulsion graft-polymerization is an emulsifier having a radical-polymerizable double bond in the molecule, and (C) a flame-retardant in an amount of 0.1-30 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the total amount of the components (A) and (B). The objective flame-retardant thermoplastic resin composition excellent in thermal stability, impact resistance, rigidity and recycling property is thus obtained.
