Abstract:
To obtain a flame-retardant adhesive composition having excellent electrical insulating properties and flame retardance, using a nonhalogen-based flame retardant and a flame-retardant adhesive film, a metal foil with a flame- retardant adhesive and a printed wiring board using the flame-retardant adhesive composition.
This flame-retardant adhesive composition is characterized by comprising an epoxy resin and one or more kinds of phosphonates selected from a nitrilotris(methylene)phosphonate metal salt, a nitrilotris(methylene) phosphonate melamine salt, 1-hydroxyethylidene-1,1-diphosphonate metal salt and 1-hydroxyethylidene-1,1-diphosphonate melamine salt.
