Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide excellent flame resistance, prevent the generation of a halogen gas at the time of combustion, improve safety at the time of a fire, and enhance tensile characteristic and extrudability.
CONSTITUTION: Into 100 parts by weight of an ethylene copolymer having a melt index less than 2 at 190°C, 50-200 parts by weight of a metal hydroxide and 2-10 parts by weight of a hydrocarbon polymer having a melt index of 5 or more at 190°C are mixed.
