PURPOSE: A film or sheet that is made of a material composed of a vinyl chloride resin, a plasticizer, chlorinated polyethylene, when necessary, a flame retarder, thus preventing fire spread by flames and keeping the carbonized area small with a flammability needed for interior curtains.

CONSTITUTION: A material composed of 100pts.wt. of a vinyl choloride resin, 20W80pts. of a plasticizer, 1W10pts. of chlorinated polyethylene, further when needed, a flame retarder is made into films or sheets, which show grade 3 inflammability according to JIS, L, 1091 A-1 and A-4 testing methods. The chlorinated polyethylene used in the material has a molecular weight of 10,000W 200,000 as polyethylene, a crystallinity of 0W30, preferably 7W30% and a chlorine content of 20W45wt%.
