Abstract:

To provide a nonwoven fabric that can attain sufficient flame resistance in no need of halogen flame retardant and antimony compound, causes no contamination of the working environment and the natural environment without occurrence of halogen gas on burning and has high safety with no health disturbance to human body.

The polybutylene terephthalate resin composition comprising (A) 96 to 50 wt.% of polybutylene terephthalate resin, (B) 2 to 25 wt.% of phosphoric ester having a specific structure and (C) 2 to 25 wt.% of triazine compound is used as a raw material and the particle size of the triazine compound (C) dispersed in the filaments constituting the nonwoven fabric is kept less than 60 μm.
