To provide a flame-retardant resin composition having excellent flame retardancy and impact resistance.
The flame-retardant resin composition is composed of the following components (A), (B), (C) and (D), wherein 0.1-50 pts.mass of the component (B), 0.001-30 pts.mass of the component (C) and 0.1-50 pts.mass of the component (D) are formulated on the basis of 100 pts.mass of the component(A). The component (A) is a rubber-modified styrene-based resin obtained by polymerizing an aromatic vinyl compound or copolymerizing an aromatic vinyl compound with other vinyl monomers copolymerizable with the aromatic vinyl compound in the presence of a rubbery polymer. The component (B) is heat expandable graphite. The component (C) is a layered clay material modified with a water-soluble polymer. The component (D) is at least one selected from the group consisting of a silicone compound, boron oxide, an aminotriazine sulfate compound and an aminotriazine compound.
