Abstract:
To provide an assembled battery and a battery pack capable of suppressing heat propagation between respective battery cells in abnormality occurrence, suppressing deterioration of battery performances and breakage of a battery case due to deformation of the battery cell, and facilitating design and assembly.SOLUTION: Each battery cell 2 comprises: an electrode plane 2a having an electrode 3; and an outer peripheral face 2b being orthogonal to the electrode plane 2a. The respective battery cells 2 are coupled in series or in parallel through the electrodes 3 and connectors or the like not shown in the figure. The outer peripheral face of the battery cell 2 is covered with a flameproof material 4, and an outer peripheral face of the flameproof material 4 is covered with an elastic member 5, and thereby an assembly battery 6 is formed. The elastic member 5 is a cylindrical body with both end parts opened, and covers the outer peripheral faces of the battery cell 2 and the flameproof material 4 in a circumferential direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
