To provide a woody resin composition suitable for producing woody resin moldings excellent in strengths, rigidity, heat resistance and surface appearance, dispensing with the addition of an alkaline substance, and having excellent dimensional stability by using a specified thermoplastic resin and a halogen- containing compound.

This composition comprises 1-90 pts.wt. woody material which is powdery or fibrous and has not been subjected to alkaline neutralization, 99-10 pts.wt. thermoplastic resin highly resistant to acids, especially acetic acid, and at least one member selected from among styrene, acrylic, olefinic, ester and amide rubber components.
