Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a flap which can reduce the torque applied on the hinge of the flap which normally acts and the flap, without being given with the influence of the strain of a main rudder and the flap.
CONSTITUTION: Two pairs of hinges of a flap 2 are provided, and installed in the upper and lower end parts of the flap, and a round bar is attached on the boss 4 of the hinge on a main rudder 1 side, and installed in a turnable manner on the main rudder 1. Two pairs of hinges of the flap 2 are provided, and installed in the upper and lower end parts of the flap 2, and the axis center of the hinge is set close to the center position of the hydraulic pressure applied on the flap 2.
