Abstract:
To provide a flatbed offset printer capable of effectively and rapidly removing looseness of a blanket of a blanket cylinder.
The flatbed offset printer 10 comprises a frame 11, a plate platen 12 fixed onto the frame 11, and a printing platen 13. A matter W to be printed is disposed on the platen 13. The carriage 15 is movably provided on the frame 11, and the blanket cylinder 14 in which the blanket 14a is wound on an outer periphery is held in the carriage 15. The carriage 15 moves on the frame 11 to arrive at a waiting position. A pressurizing unit 20 is installed for pressurizing the blanket 14a of the cylinder 14 to remove the looseness of the blanket 14.
