PURPOSE: To attain the miniaturization and to reduce the cost by inserting a stranded insulation film conductor wire loosely to a hollow of a flexible conductor closely wound as a coil.
CONSTITUTION: A stranded insulation coating electric wire 17 is inserted into a coil spring shaped flexible conductor 16 wound closely with a slight gap in an antenna element 11, a cover 12 made of a rubber tube or the like is fitted to an outer circumference of the flexible conductor 16 and a cap 13 is fitted to the tip. Then a sleeve 14 made of a hard synthetic resin is fitted to the lower end of the antenna element 11, and a center conductor 18 of a connector 15 and a conductor of the insulation film electric wire 17 and a base of the flexible conductor 16 are connected electrically by soldering or the like. Furthermore, the tip of the antenna element 11 is made open electrically and mechanically with respect to the flexible conductor 16 and the insulation film electric wire 17. The the size of a flexible antenna used for a portable radio equipment is made small and the cost is reduced.
