Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent a curve of a pipe main body by forming the axial cross-sectional outer periphery in a straight line shape, forming the thin flexible parts forming the waveform axial cross-sectional outer periphery on both ends of the thick rigid part formed in the intermediate part of the pipe main body, and arranging connecting flanges in the end parts of the respective flexible parts. SOLUTION: A flexible pipe joint 1 used for the piping passage bending part has a pipe main body 2 and connecting flanges 3 of its both end parts so that flexible parts 5 are extended from both sides of a rigid part 4 formed in the central part of the pipe main body 2. Reinforced fiber 6 is embedded in these rigid part 4 and flexible parts 5, and the rigid part 4 is formed in a thickness capable of securing sufficient rigidity to prevent a curve by forming the axial cross-sectional outer periphery in a straight line shape. The flexible parts 5 have the thin parts 7 thinner than a thickness of the rigid part 4 so as to sufficiently secure flexibility of the pipe main body 2 to form the axial cross-sectional outer periphery in a waveform. The part to form a crest part of the waveform is formed as the semicircular thick part 8 on the inside.
