Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a flexible joint for a pipe excellent in corrosion resistance, mechanical characteristics, heat resistance, oil resistance and elastic properties.
CONSTITUTION: A joint for a pipe is obtained by forming a particulate material based on an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer obtained by polymerizing ethylene and 3-12C α-olefin and satisfying physical properties such that density (I) is 0.860-0.910 g/cm3, the max. peak tap. (II) due to differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) is 100°C or higher and a boiling n-hexane insoluble component (III) is 10wt.% or more into a tubular shape by rotary molding.
