PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate bellows pipe connecting work by reducing the number of parts in a flexible pipe joint of a type which comprises a cylindrical joint body 1, a tightening cylinder 2 inserted in the joint body, and a radially expandable and contractible retainer 3, and in which tightening the tightening cylinder 2 from a temporary fixing position to a final tightening position fits the retainer 3 onto a bellows pipe 8 to connect the bellows pipe 8.
SOLUTION: The tightening cylinder 2 has an externally threaded portion 29 on the barrel periphery. The joint body 1 internally has a first internally threaded portion 11, a threadless portion 13 and a second internally threaded portion 12 in the order from the rear open end. The threadless portion 13 has an inside diameter set larger than the thread diameter of the externally threaded portion 29, and an axial length set longer than that of the externally threaded portion 29. The retainer 3 is expandable in the second internally threaded portion 12. The state where the front end of the externally threaded portion 29 abuts the rear end of the second internal thread 12 is the state where the tightening cylinder 2 is positioned in the temporary fixing position in the joint body 1, and in this state, the retainer 3 is set corresponding to the second internally threaded portion 12.
