Abstract:
To improve the bending characteristics of a flexible pipe and elongate the durable life thereof.
The flexible pipe comprises a metal tube having irregular portions formed on the outer periphery face by meshing sectionally S-shaped metal plates with each other. The length L12 of a protruded portion of the S-shaped metal plate is 0.9 time or less length L1 of a recessed portion thereof. The metal tube formed by meshing the metal plates with each other while forming spaces is covered at its outer periphery face with a covering member.
