Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a pressure hose of very superior quality by applying adhesives on the surface of an inner layer pipe shaped by the extruding of thermoplastic resin for knitting fibrous reinforcing materials over them in a pitch under the twice of the outer diameter of the inner layer to be covered with extruded synthetic rubber after heating. CONSTITUTION:Nylon-6 or other thermoplastic resin are extruded to shape an inner layer pipe, over whose surface solvent type adhesives are applied and fibrous reinforcing materials of polyester with high tensile strength and 3-6% of thermal contraction rate are knitted in a pitch under the twice of the outer diameter of the inner layer before the evaporation of solvent to be followed by heating. By this heating, the fibrous reinforcing materials are closely stuck to the inner layer pipe by contraction and the inner layer pipe is also contracted by 3-6% in the inner diameter for strengthening their combination greatly. Then, the combination is covered with extruded synthetic rubber or other elastic materials for improving its airtightness. This process serves to obtain a pressure hose of very superior quality with high pressure-resistivity and flexibility.
