PURPOSE: To obtain the subject flexible tape with suppressed cracking in boundary parts between perforated and unperforated parts and reduced breakage by forming brittle zones crossing the longitudinal direction of a tape at positions other than boundary parts between the perforated and the unperforated parts.

CONSTITUTION: The objective tape obtained by forming circular arc-shaped side edges 1 protruding in the upper and lower parts of sprocket engaging holes (H) to provide brittle zones (C) of the above-mentioned tape in forming, e.g. the sprocket engaging holes (H) in perforated parts (B) of a tape (T) alternately having the perforated parts (B) and unperforated parts (A) in the longitudinal direction and reducing the extent of bending in the boundaries between the perforated parts (B) and the unperforated parts (A) due to bending of the tape even in the parts of the brittle zones.
