Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a tube with little leak and no accumulation of gas or liquid by providing a metal seal airtightly connected to a fixed pipeline in a flexible tube made of polypropylene or Teflon.
CONSTITUTION: Metal seal glands 2 and 6 of a fixed pipeline and a Teflon flexible tube 1 to be connected to it are connected with a female nut 3 and a male nut 5 via a metal seal 4. The Teflon tube 1 is made of soft Teflon resin with excellent durability and corrosion resistance. The metal seal gland 2 and the female nut 3 are modified ordinary ones. As a result, a flexible hose with little leak and no accumulation of gas or liquid is obtained.
