Abstract:
PURPOSE:To adapt the title liquid-level meter even to a various water storage tank different in upper and lower limit positions, by forming a support pipe having a sensor detecting the upward and downward movement of a float so as to be capable of regulating the extension and contraction thereof. CONSTITUTION:The screwing between the first socket 7a and second socket 7b of an extension and contraction regulating means 7 is brought to a loosening state and the inside pipe 2b of each support pipe 2 is slid in the outside pipe 2a thereof so that the operative position of a sensor 6 due to a float 4 becomes the upper or lower limit position of the level of the water in a water storage tank to regulate the length of the support pipe 2. After the finish of regulation, the screwing between the first socket 7a and the second socket 7b is gradually tightened. Thereafter, a liquid-level meter is fixed to the top surface of the water storage tank at the head body 1 thereof to be mounted to the water storage tank. By this constitution, if one kind of the liquid-level meter is formed, said meter can be adapted to a various water storage tank different in upper and lower limit positions.
