Abstract:

To provide a floating body suspension type base isolation structure using heavy muddy water preventing rolling generated in a structure in heavy muddy water in earthquakes, facilitating the maintenance, and being executable in a building with various conditions.

This floating type base isolation structure 4 is so constituted that the heavy muddy water 3 is stored in a vessel 2 formed in a ground 1, the underground part of the structure 4 is dipped in the heavy muddy water 3, and the weight of the structure is supported by the buoyancy of the heavy muddy water 3. A part of the weight of the structure 4 is supported by the buoyancy of the heavy muddy water 3 and the residual weight is suspended and supported by a suspension material 6 of a suspension structure 5.
