PURPOSE: To execute the experiment in a gravity-free state of good quality by providing a transmitting equipment and a receiving equipment on a driving force generating mechanism and an experimental device, respectively, operating the transmitting equipment by a switch, and starting and ending the experiment by an optical signal.
CONSTITUTION: A transmitting equipment 2 is provided on a driving force gener ating mechanism 1, and a receiving equipment 4 is provided on an experimental device 3. In such a state, in the equipment 2, a pulse generating circuit is actuat ed by a switch 5, and a pulse signal of 1kHz is generated. This pulse signal is subjected to amplitude modulation by 40kHz in a modulating circuit, so that it is scarcely influenced by a stray light. Subsequently, this signal is current- amplified by a booster circuit, a light emission diode 10 is driven, and an optical signal of infrared rays of 900nm wavelength is oscillated. Also, in the equipment 4, an infrared-ray signal photodetected by a photodetecting diode 11 is amplified to a signal of several V by an amplifying circuit, and thereafter, restored to the original signal by a detecting circuit filter and a waveform shaping circuit, and by this signal, a switching circuit using an electromagnetic relay is driven, by which an experimental pat 6 is operated.
