Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance the workability by a floating and navigating body fixed thereto with a manipulator with which the work is carried out, by decreasing the mass ratio of the manipulator with respect to the body so as to decrease the degree of interference in motion therebetween.
CONSTITUTION: Actuators 13, 14, 15 for driving joints 9, 10, 11 of a manipulator 3 are incorporated in a body 2. With this arrangement, the mass of the entire system of a floating and navigating body 1 is concentrated to the body 2, and accordingly, there is substantially no interference in motion between the body 2 and the manipulator 3, thereby it is possible to enhance the ability of positioning the manipulator 3 and the workability thereof.
