PURPOSE: To provide a floor bedding material having a good walking touch and constituted of a lightweight plastic foam excellent in soundproofness even if its thickness is thin.

CONSTITUTION: In a plate-like floor bedding material formed of a plastic foam and having the front with wave form and the flat rear, distance (a) between the centers of adjacent two tops formed on the front is within the range of 8-20mm. Height (d) from the rear to the top of the waves is within the range of 2-10mm. Height (h) of 1/2 in height difference between top and bottom is within 0.5-4mm. In the height lowered by (1/3)h from the top of the wave, a sun of areas of the top parts formed by cutting off in parallel to the rear is 0.5-30% of the total area of the rear surface.
