Abstract:
To obtain a floor polish excellent in water and detergent resistances and removability.
This floor polish composition is obtained by dispersing an epoxy resin having epoxy groups in an aqueous resin having carboxyl groups or including a crosslinked component therein. The epoxy groups in an amount of 0.01-0.70 chemical equiv. based on the carboxyl groups are dispersed or crosslinked. The aqueous resin is preferably selected from the group consisting of an aqueous polyurethane-based resin, an acrylic resin, an alkali-soluble resin, an aqueous polyolefin-based resin and an ionomer aqueous resin containing carboxylic acids and/or carboxylic salts and having 30-300 acid value.
