PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase in energy consumption of a pump without deteriorating reliability.SOLUTION: A flow control device 20 includes a cooling water pump 21 (pump) for feeding cooling water, a temperature detecting section Sa for detecting a temperature of the cooling water, a control section 25 (pump control section) for controlling output of the cooling water pump 21 on the basis of the temperature of the cooling water, and a flow sensor Sc for detecting a flow rate of the cooling water. When the flow rate of the cooling water is lower than a lower limit value, the control section 25 increases the output of the cooling water pump 21 to be higher than when the flow rate of the cooling water lower than the lower limit value is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
