Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent attachment of scales to the internal circumferential surface of the opening of a valve body by giving the wall thickness of the opening's internal circumferential edge of the valve body a thinner valve than the wall thickness of the valve body. CONSTITUTION:The wall thickness t of the internal circumferential edge of opening 111 provided in the valve body shall be thinner than the wall thickness T of the valve body (thickness t at the opening's edge will be 30-70% of the wall thickness T of the valve body). Thereby less scales will be attached to the circumferential edge of the valve body's opening as well as no scale growth seen at the opening's circumferential edge, and eventually attached scales will be delaminated so as not to increase the resistance in this part, to provide a variable orifice valve having self-descaling function.
