Abstract:
PURPOSE:To deflect a flow automatically and manually by providing a flow deflecting device comprising temperature detecting means, a driving source and a blade for deflecting a flow with a resistor for giving resistance to the movement of the blade at the time of releasing the regulating force of the driving source. CONSTITUTION:A flow deflecting device comprises a flow deflecting portion 1, a blade 12 fixed to a shaft 4a, a temperature sensor means 7 and a bellows 6 which is a driving source. Changeover means comprises a lever 15 fixed to a shaft 4b by a coiled spring 13 between a cam 5 and a wall 2 and a lever holding plate 16. When the lever 15 is moved to a groove 18, the cam 5 is separated from a presser 9 and the coiled spring 13 is compressed to serve as a resistor for the manual movement of the blade 12. In this arrangement, a temperature can be detected to automatically deflect a flow, and the direction of a flow can be manually set at need. Thus, the device can be used conveniently.
