Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water flow detector which allows for easy opening/closing work of an enclosure that houses a switch to detect rotation of a valve body.SOLUTION: The water flow detector comprises: a main body which includes a flow channel for fluid and a valve body for rotatably blocking the flow channel, and is mounted to a pipe of fire-extinguishing equipment; and a switch housed in an enclosure and outputting a signal in response to rotation of the valve body. The enclosure includes: a base comprising a first side wall opposite to the main body, a bottom surface extending from a lower portion of the first side wall in a direction away from the main body, and a rear wall continuous from the first side wall and from the bottom surface; a cover mounted detachably to the base to cover a space defined by the base; a first restriction part provided on the cover to restrain the cover mounted to the base from moving in a direction away from the rear wall; and a second restriction part provided on the cover to restrain the cover mounted to the base from moving in a direction away from the first side wall.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
