Abstract:
PURPOSE:To rationalize compensating operation of difference between devices by a method wherein an actual flow rate of liquid whose flow rate is to be measured and an error rate in measured flow rates are directly set by an error setting device. CONSTITUTION:When power is turned ON, a measuring pulse counter for counting measuring pulses from a magnetic resistor element 6 and an output pulse counter of pulses output from an output circuit 10 are reset to zero by a control circuit 9. Then, a constant conversion table 11A of a memory circuit 11 is read in, and compensation constant K corresponding to a measurement error is read out from the table 11A. This constant K is calculated by a specific equation and stored in the table 11A. Therefore, the calculated constant K is stored in a compensation constant memory unit 11B of the circuit 11. Therefore, to carry out compensation difference between devices, simple operation of operating an error setting switch 14 and inputting the error rate between an actual flow rate and a measured flow rate in terms of percentage is performed. Then, since the error rate set in the circuit 9 is automatically converted into the constant K, compensating operation between devices can be simplified.
