To provide a flow rate control valve for refrigerant, which can perform a suitable flow rate control in a stream which has normal and reverse running directions, extending to a wide range, and can suppress the generation of refrigerant noises.
By driving by a stepping motor 28, a valve body 26 is advanced/ retracted in the axial direction while being rotated, and a first valve part 26a and a second valve part 26b which are provided on the valve body 26 in such a manner that the removing/seating part may separate in the axial direction and may be confronted with, are removed from or seated on a first valve seat 25a and a second valve seat 25b being formed at both ends of a valve seat body 25 which is fixed in a valve main body 21. In this case, when an opening/closing is performed by a pair of the first valve part 26a and the first valve seat 25a by an advancing/retracting of the valve body 26, a pair of the second valve part 26b and the second valve seat 25b is placed under an open state, and also, when an opening/closing is performed by the pair of the second valve part 26b and the second valve seat 25b, a pair of the first valve part 26a and the first valve seat 25a is placed under an open state, and for this reason, the configuration of a stream does not change to the normal/ reverse stream of a refrigerant, and a suitable flow rate control can be performed even in a comparatively large flow rate control range.
