Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluff suppressing method for automatic winder capable of performing a stable fluff suppression in a multiple disc type fluff binding treatment by keeping the slip between a disc and a spun yarn in a proper range.
SOLUTION: During a general winding in the state with yarn speed 600-1600 m/min and disc diameter 40-50 mm, the rotating speed of the disc is set to 5000-22000 rpm, or the following relation is satisfied when the yarn speed is S (m/min) and the circumferential speed of the disk is D (m/min): (D/S)×(S/1000)=0.7-3.5.
