Abstract:
To provide a fluid dynamic pressure bearing device for suppressing the generation of outgas from an adhesive.SOLUTION: A fluid dynamic pressure bearing device comprises: a base part having a shaft 102; an inside cylinder part 112 relatively and rotatably supported to the base part; a dynamic pressure bearing part 215 formed of an external peripheral face 102a of the shaft 102 and an internal peripheral face 112a of the inside cylinder part 112 opposing the shaft 102; a lubricant C charged into the dynamic pressure bearing part 215; and a cap 160 fit to an annular protrusion 150 formed at the inside cylinder part 112. The cap 160 is fixed to the annular protrusion 150 with an adhesive, the adhesive forms an adhesive sump 171 exposed to a pressure-insertion region 164 between the cap 160 and the annular protrusion 150, a surface of the adhesive sump 171 is covered with a film 172, and a contact angle to the film 172 with respect to hexadecane is equal to or larger than 50°.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
