Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid feeding pipe in which a deformation at an engaging projection is restricted even if a large tensile load is applied to a joint part and it shows a superior pipe extraction prevention characteristic.SOLUTION: In a fluid feeding pipe having a pipe 2, an engaging projection 4 formed by a form rolling work is provided on an outer peripheral surface of a joint part for the pipe 2. The engaging projection 4 includes a curved base part extending from the outer peripheral surface, a vertical wall part 6 extending from the base part, a curved part extending from the vertical wall part 6 and a top part extending from the curved part. A height ranging from the outer peripheral surface of the engaging projection 4 to a protrusion end at the top part is equal to or more than a total sum value of a curvature radius of processing means positioned inside and outside of the pipe 2 during the form rolling work, an average aspect ratio of crystalline particle at the vertical wall is equal to or more than 2.0, and a plate thickness reduction rate after forming a base part at the engaging projection in respect to a plate thickness of a pipe main body is equal to or less than 40%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
