To provide a drainage mechanism of a fluid filter of a simple construction which can prevent a drain bolt made of a resin from turning loose from its fastened state and turning tightened excessively, as often seen in using such a drain bolt.
This drainage mechanism 7 comprises the following components; (1) a cap 3 which is fitted to a case 2 and has a drain hole 15, and (2) a drain bolt 20, made of a resin, which is screwed into the cap 3 by predetermined tightening torque through relative rotation and thereby, blocks the drain hole 15. In addition, this drainage mechanism 7 is equipped with a loose turn checking mechanism 30 constituted of a first restraining part 31 arranged on the cap 3, a second restraining part 32 which is arranged on the drain bolt 20 and comes into contact with or becomes secured to the first restraining part 31 by the relative rotation of the cap 3 and the drain bolt 20, and an elastic support part 33 which is arranged on the drain bolt 20 and elastically supports the second restraining part 32.
